Our entire stay at Lake Inn was a 5-star experience and exceeded all our expectations! I received a friendly call from Lucie on the day of check-in and was kindly offered a free room upgrade because the room we originally booked required maintenance. This was a lovely surprise! We had also requested an earlier check-in which was warmly accommodated without question. Upon check in, we were then greeted by a very friendly and welcoming receptionist with short blonde hair (sorry I missed your name!) who made the check-in process so effortless and seamless (I'm talking 1-minute max!), which, after a long drive, meant we could get up to the room quickly and relax. The room itself was huge and everything was so comfy (beds, linen, couches, chairs)! The housekeeping team must be phenomenal and they deserve a big shout out. I am very pedantic about hotel and room cleanliness so I am not kidding when I say the room was IMMACULATE. Not a single hair or speck of dust in sight!! Every corner was spotless! The room smelled so fresh on arrival and I wouldnt have known other guests had stayed there previously. I was seriously impressed with how clean it was (and I've stayed at lots of hotels all over the world. Even the big boys don't get cleanliness as well as the team at Lake Inn!) I travelled with my elderly mum and we were both delighted and pleased that we stayed at Lake Inn. We will definitely be back! Thank you for the wonderful experience :)

Everything is super clean, beds, towels, bathroom, walls/carpets. Room and bathroom was spacious. Car park was very full but still found one last park. We needed late check-in, was smooth and easy. Spoke with staff prior to say we would be arriving after 1am, and on arrival they had our room heater on, that was fantastic as we just rolled into bed. We will continue to stay here when we visit Ballarat

The room was spacious and offered plenty of room to spread out and get comfortable. However, we did find it a bit cold, which was a minor inconvenience. Despite this, the overall ambiance of the hotel was quiet and serene, perfect for a restful getaway especially with the lake nearby. The staff was very kind to keep our luggage after check-out, allowing us to visit the city as we had traveled by train from Melbourne.

Welcoming and helpful reception. Clean, spacious and was sufficiently equipped for us to make our own breakfast. There’s a very good IGA a block away.

Location is excellent, close to the hospital which we needed. The room was the best motel room we have ever stayed in. It was clean, very spacious and was stocked with everything that we needed. Even down to a bottle opener with a knife so I could cut a tag. The motel had an entrance to the hotel and the meal was great.

The location, room, bathroom and ambience were all very good. The selection of teas (& coffee) were great.

The room was spacious and we liked the fact there was a table and chairs and a couch. Also that it was close to the lake and the theatre we were attending on the Saturday night. Another advantage was the "back door" entry to the pub where we had a lovely meal on the Saturday night.

Unfortunately we were there when the restaurants were closed for the holidays! Luckily there was a supermarket close by where we could buy food.

Terrific location, close to city centre and lake, excellent pub next door for meals, beds were comfortable, heating could be better as electric blanket didn’t seem to work but had everything you need for short stay and was spacious
